Hi, I‘m Becca, a curious neurodiverse generalist educator.
I have always loved learning and exploring, and this curiosity has led to a lot of travelling and study. Being dyslexic and a generalist enables me to think differently and helped me to complete my PhD in International Relations at the University of St Andrews.
I then switched to teaching others. I work as a Student Learning Developer at St Andrews, creating programmes and workshops to help students reach their potential and improve the student experience. Alongside this I am pursuing a portfolio career focused on education, coaching students, delivering workshops and facilitating training and development.

I'm very excited about joining the GW team, especially being able to share the generalist message and interdisciplinary skills

My plans for Generalist World:
I’m looking forward to inspiring the next generation of generalists, showing that there’s an alternative to a linear career path or set way of working. I wish someone had shown me this earlier!

It feels revolutionary that so many creative people are challenging the norm around linear careers and honing their skills as problem solvers!
